Andean opal
| This is a stone with
homogenious, even a mystical power. It reflects
the light thanks to its 10% water content (in the
form of bubbles).

Turquoise or Copper
malachite
|
The tones assumed by this
porous stone, the only phosphatic gemstone, range
from light blue to yellowish green, apple green,
greenish blue and dark blue.

Lapis lázuli
|
This blue stone is the basis
for ultramarine pigment and the best examples come
from Badaksan (Afganistan).

Rock crystal quartz
|
This symbol of the New Age
belongs to the silicon dioxide group and is
esagonal on sahpe.

On rarely finds a perfect
specimen of this stone, known as the love

Black and white onyx have

glass, the varieties found in Peru are either
