  Arte en Piedra y Metal (Art in Stone and Metal) is company with an eleven-year history of working stones and making peruvian jewelry.

  18 carat gold and silver with a purity of 925 are used to fashion jewelry combinig today's most modern styles with the art of Peru's ancient gold and silversmiths. The result are unique pieces incorporating precious stones (including our own native stones ), mabe and river pearls, fossils, amber, petrified wood, ancient beads, pieces of fabric, dried flowers, coins, pieces od quartz, and anything else the artist can imagine and that can be worked by known techniques.

  Our jewellery collection features unique original rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pendants ; repoussed pieces, hammered, re-fired, boiled, wedged with filigree and a mix of metals that will fulfil your expectations.

  You also will find well known chaquiras, a kind of necklaces crafted by ancient peruvians, wich combine corals, stones, seeds, bones and the priced spondyllus shell.

Andean opal This is a stone with homogenious, even a mystical power. It reflects the light thanks to its 10% water content (in the form of bubbles).
Turquoise or Copper malachite The tones assumed by this porous stone, the only phosphatic gemstone, range from light blue to yellowish green, apple green, greenish blue and dark blue.
Lapis lázuli This blue stone is the basis for ultramarine pigment and the best examples come from Badaksan (Afganistan).
Rock crystal quartz This symbol of the New Age belongs to the silicon dioxide group and is esagonal on sahpe.
Rose quartz On rarely finds a perfect specimen of this stone, known as the love stone.
Onyx Black and white onyx have been ued in Peru since biblical times.
Jasper A member of the quartz family, this stone is generally red, yellow, coffee brown, or green in color.
Obsidian An exclusive igneous rock, rather than a mineral, and also known as volcanic glass, the varieties found in Peru are either transparent or tiger striped.
Hematite This specimen is also called "Blood stone" because of the tendency of its shiny silver surface to temporarily turn the color of blood on being polished.
